Fizza’s sweet specialty is arriving in Kainuu’s 24/7 pizza vending machines for the very first time. Available for a limited time only, the Choco Pizza combines a savory pizza crust and a sweet dessert in a surprisingly delicious way.
The limited-edition Choco Pizza brings together savory and sweet in a surprisingly functional combination. Fizza’s familiar Neapolitan-style crust serves as the base for dessert-like toppings: crème fraîche, Nutella, crushed raspberries, caramel sauce, and crunchy flaked almonds. While the combination might sound surprising and is bound to divide opinions, it creates a beautifully balanced flavor profile.
“A dessert pizza is something that naturally sparks people’s curiosity. People want to try it and see if the combination can actually work,” says Matthew Campbell, the entrepreneur behind Fizza in Kainuu.
The Choco Pizza will be available from Fizza machines in Kainuu for a limited time in April. The pizza cooks in just a few minutes, around the clock. However, it is a good idea to check availability in the Fizza app, as the product is expected to be popular. You can also reserve your pizza in advance through the app, with a pickup window of six hours.
“Personally, I think chocolate absolutely belongs on pizza,” Campbell states.
